I broke the seal!!

Post by Shaz »

I hang my head as I write this, but last night I broke the seal of dust on my D2 CDs and re-installed it!!

If anyone is up for some old-school fun, I'm *ShazEast on the USEast server.

Not sure how long this time will last, but I was having a craving and figured "why not?". So come join me on the dark side!!

Ever since my accts expired and the perfect CWPoQ (with 2 holes) went poof, as well as my very own 297% crafted CCB, I haven't had the heart...

IMO, the funniest part of DII is the start. Once I actually have collected the wealth to get anything I want, I lose interrest.. I've done this like fifteen times it seems, reinstalling, pwning, letting 10 accounts full of stuff die out. Re-installing, pwing, stop playing, and so on..

There's NOTHING like when you start you first new char (after trying to actually find him a name - every cool one is taken) and visit the rogue camp and there he stands, old warriv.. You immidiatly run out to find the den. Aahhh.. I feel the itch again! Must. Resist.

People with crappy rigs getting insta killed on duriel at the end of Act II.

I think the cinematics are what totally made the game. When old boy pulls the soul shard out of Tal Rasha, then the visit to Meph. Probably my favorite cinematics in any game I played.

Last time I broke out my D2x discs were when Foam convinced me to try out D2Relived. I got a toon to 99 and stopped playing, it bored me.
