lol what was the point in making the title like this?

good points in the game: 7-3 halftime score. Bad tackling allowing the 63 yard TD was the worst part though.

Humiliated? no. We outplayed them in the first half, but our youth and playoff inexperience cost us the win. I'll take my lumps, but I still think the jaguars were the better team.

Im thinking pats and hawks in the super bowl

pats are a whole new team in the postseason, and no one has found a way to beat the hawks in seattle all year

yes, i watched the game, Flint. And the first half was IMO played better by the Jags. Brady was a humble 7-17 with 1 TD, whereas Leftwich had a hot hand and was 8-10, albeit no TDs. The second half was Absolute crap for the jags unfortunately. Like I said, i'll take my lumps, but the jags are a young team that is up and coming. They'll be in the playoffs again next year, and will maek noise.

Its going to be a LOT harder for them to make the playoffs next year. Im actually not expecting them to make it. They square off with the AFC East and NFC East. Id put any team in the NFC East on par with the Jaguars next season. But the main reason I dont think they will is becuase the AFC West gets to pick on the AFC North and NFC West. If the schedules had been set up like that this season the Chargers or Chiefs would have taken Jacksonvilles wildcard spot... guaranteed.

I also wouldnt say the first half was better played by the jags... who didnt have a first down until like 5 minutes into the second quarter. As much as the Jacksonville defense smothered the Pats in the first half the Pats returend it full force.

the afc east is ... the patriots... thats it. Besides that, the chiefs aren't getting any younger. My guess is, the jags finish 11-5 and are a wildcard again...but they will also be challenging for the division title next year.

But the AFC East isnt nearly the cake walk that the NFC East is. Plus Miami finished on a 6 game winning streak with a 9-7 record under a first year head coach with a rookie running back and two god aweful quarterbacks. Thats a team to watch out for.

I also dont necessarily agree that Jacksonville is a young up and coming team. Jimmy Smith and Fred Taylor are both way passed their prime. Smith has been in the league forever, Taylor about half as long but hes been so injury prone. Those two account for 2/3 of Jacksonvilles offense which even with them is nothing special. Byron Leftwich is a good quarterback but very soon he is going to be left with no one to throw to.

meh. that is 2 people. Have you seen Greg Jones run? He's a great bruising running back, and did VERY well filling in for Freddy T and he's only in his second year, and Jimmy Smith, well... he is old. But our WR corp is young all around other than him. Matt Jones, Reggie Williams, Ernest Wilford, and Cortez Hankton. All in their third year or less. The defense is young, the offensive line is young... They are a young team.. They are not aging like The chiefs where the only starter under 30 is Larry Johnson. (a slight exaggeration, but its close.)

true, but 2/3 of your total offensive output is a lot to make up for

Greg Jones can more than make up for Taylor, and in fact, I'm suprised that JDR hasn't made the switch....Jones plays more JDR football...and i'm confident someone will step up in J-smooth's place..and my guess it will be Wilford. You make it sound like no one else touches the ball, but not true. IN fact, more of our big plays came from Wilford this year than Smith. nearly 80% of all Wilfords catches were first downs, or TDs....
