They used a technique I thought was fixed, called tap-levelling. He runs around unpartied getting the tap on every mob running by while someone heals him and a bunch of guildies kill off his taps.

*Supposedly* this had been fixed so you only got a proportion of experience based on the damage done to the mob by the player, but it would appear not.

I will admit levelling so far has been going quickly. We had 62s in the guild by the end of 36 hours or so. But Blizz has put some high exp for mobs in outlands. Some of the 61-62 elites in the early instances net 800-1000 xp per player when killed, and the instance is full of them, and they're not difficult.

The equipment is amazing as well, even the greens and blues.

Is it any good.. ?

All of my old friends, who I've hardly ever talked to since WoW's release, have quit playing WoW because of this exp-pack.. They claimed it would destroy the game, yada yada, and sold their accounts like a month ago or two.

Well, Bane, everyone sure seems to be having a good time so far. The levelling is fast, fun, and productive from a monetary and equipment standpoint. It would only destroy the game if you chose NOT to get the Xpac. I admit Orgrimmar is a ghost town now, and if you're trying to hang on and do stuff as a 60 w/o the expansion, you're screwed. Whats more, lots of the greens that drop in the 63-66 areas are almost on par with what people have struggled in the huge 40 man raid dungeons for so long to get. This is even more true with quest rewards.

I borrowed a friends account whom has the crusade and ive played about 2 hours as a blood elf paladin. I haveta say the game has some merit, after two years of me complaining I wouldnt buy it, I have been having some MINOR second thoughts.

Then I went ground pvping with Scutch on my new Spy tonight and fell in love with the iconic world of Star Wars again. Oh the joys of killing someones AT-RT and outwitting a very dangerous commando dropping trigger mines on a hill and baiting us. Good times were had no doubt.

Im still gonna play some WoW though, im on Ursin, my buds server.
