Hey guys I think I am going to build a new comp very soon. I've got everything picked out but I want to run it by you first in case theres any glaring mistakes I've made. I think everything should be good but my biggest question mark right now is on the power supply. Right now I have a 550W unit picked out, but I am wondering if it would be worth paying more for a 600W unit because of future graphics card requirements. What do you guys think? I am going to reuse my DVD-RW and Floppy from my last comp.

Looks like a great setup, but the only thing I would mention is that the case you are buying already has a 500w power supply in it, so I guess maybe you could take that one out and sell it at a resale place and then go for the 600W PS with the extra cash you get. At first I thought you should by a case with no PS, but they don't really cost any less......
I also notice in the reviews for that case some guy mentions not being able to fit his 8800gt in the case, and he had to cut the end off the card, and he also says that the included power supply does not support the 8800gt, so he had to replace that also...
Check this one, there's enough room for the 8800GT, and the reviews look good, plus there's no installed power supply, so your free to grab the 600W power supply....

I looked into just using the 500W power supply it comes with but after talking to a lot of people they mostly say that built in power supplies are crap and I should really buy something better. However, at $58 I couldn't find a case that was more functional/better looking than this one even if I am paying for a useless power supply. Also I saw that review about the 8800GT not fitting but there are other reviews in there that say they use the 8800GT with no problem and some even specifically mention the fact that it has enough room for an 8800GT so I'm guessing that one dude is just a tard. Hopefully I'm guessing right.

I was just editing my opinion when I saw your response, so I think I agree with you there, plus as I mentioned in my edit, you could sell the power supply it came with, since the ones with no PS don't cost any less....and then I would go with the 600W, as long as your upgrading anyway....

I still prefer Mwave for buying my computers, check this set-up...

Man, that's cheap! You guys are really blessed, hardware costs so goddamn little in NA! Not that it's extremely expensive over here, but it would prolly be cheaper to buy from america and ship it over here, at least now with the USD/SEK (swedish kronors) reate being what it is(meaning USD is cheap nowadays).

I personally never thought the power supply issues were really.. issues
If the 500 will work with everything you put in it now, just leave the 500 and upgrade the power supply later (it'll be cheaper then anyway) when you need to.

I've always had good luck with Mwave, I believe I did send back a motherboard for replacement once also, it was DOA, and it wasn't an issue... They also have the free "Assemble and test" feature which pretty much makes it unlikely that you will get a DOA item...(when I got the DOA motherboard I didn't use the assemble and test feature because it used to cost $9, now it's free)...
