Gonna buy some memory

My motherboard is an Intel D865PERL any suggestions?

Well before I can make some suggestions for you I must ask a few questions. What type of budget are you working under and how much memory do you have now?

I have 512 and I think Im just gonna add another 512 since christmas is 2 weeks away

I dont think budget is gonna be a problem if Im just buying 512 now

Well if your going to upgrade might as well do it right

Get a gig of some dual channel DDR 400 from a good brand I can suggest to you, But if you really just want 512 I can help ya too.

Well I still havent cracked open the comp to see whats in there already (gonna do it on thursday when I head back to town for winter break) but if I have ddr pc3200 I should just get more of that right?

Yes definately, its the best supported memory for your mobo. Let me know how many slots your 512 takes if its 1 or 2.

I see. Well then I reccomend to thee as mention before, some dual DDR 400 either 1gig 512 x 2 or if you want to get crazy 2gib 1gb x 2
