redskins going to the playoffs

Post by flint »

Well maybe not but tonight certaintly went a long way. As I write this post the Falcons are down 16-3 with 4 minutes left in the fourth and theyve been getting shut down all game. That puts Tampa in the drivers seat for a wildcard position and the Skins are riding shotgun thanks to their 8-2 conference record if it comes down to a tiebreaker. Even if we lose to the Giants all of the other teams in contention right now have a very big chance to lose a game as well. Im more than a little optimistic at this point.

Might I also add that two teams who I got slammed for saying are still good teams (Pittsburgh and New England) definitely bolstered my argument this week, especially seeing as how Pittsburgh is now looking real good to make the playoffs with Cleveland and Detroit left on the schedule.

P.S. - Styro, Jacksonville should start praying now that they dont face the Patriots in the first round of the playoffs.

I'm not too worried about anyone in the playoffs. I think with byron back in the playoffs we have a great shot at beating anyone. Don't forget the jags have played, and won in the cold, and byron is one of only TWO QBs to beat Brett favre in Lambaeu in sub-freezing weather.... which says alot really.

I'm still not too worried about the pats...in all honesty, i'd rather play them than the bengals who are a more well rounded team.

Charlie Frye is looking pretty damn good. Next year with (hopefully) Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow Jr to throw to, plus Reuben Droughns running the ball the Browns will have the offense in order. Should be fun to watch.
