omg that fuckin ref... I honestly believe we would have gotten a victory if he didnt give out that rediculous red card to Mastroeni

even down a man we completely outplayed the Italians for the first 75 minutes, after that they took over while we shelled up in front of the net

Man, the USA - Italy game was just insane.. The ref made some horrible mistakes, and ofc the last red card. USA played pretty good, quite impressive, but Italy was a dissapointment. Never liked them tho, they play boring football IMO, I cheered for USA, heh..

Watching france vs korea now, hopefully korea wins, france aren't very good anymore. Most of'em stand still, noone is running

And Ghana!

Unfortunetly I missed that game, had to clean my apartement (a promise to my GF on her birthday:()

Omg, Henry just scored a goal for france! Damn!

I always cheer for france. they just dont have a spark right now - amazing personal skills but no team flow and they're just not playing smoothe.

people been honking and running around making noise for the past week, even at night and its quite annoying
now i can understand enthusiasm
but going to your car, putting your countries flag on it, and driving around town everytime your team scores a goal? that takes it a bit too far

Socceroos vs Croatia game starts in a couple of hours

I fully understand that there are "better" teams out there but I support my country 100%

This is the decider, the real battle (in my group Brazil are clear favourites, though I think we should have kicked their ass last week, we had 0 luck T_T)

But the battle is really for 2nd place and currently ALL 3 of the other countries could qualify...

Aus needs at least a draw (provide that Japan doesn't beat Brazil by 3 or more goals)
Croatia needs to beat Australia (again)
Japan needs to beat Brazil, and by a goal margin of at least 3 points

I'm stoked with the way the aussies are playing atm and looking forward to seein them in the 2nd round

thank god I have a day off to watch this (probably 1/2 the country does but w/e)

Good game indeed, slightly overshadowed by one of the most dubiuos displays of referreeing I have ever seen, holy fucking shit he's supposed to be one of the best refs in the English league ? Piss off...

And yea first time I after about 12 years that I've seen Australia in the world cup after several heartbreakers in the past, so it's all going off. Now we face Italy in a few days time (and like about 1/4 of the country is Italian descent so it's gonna be a highly anticipated clash...)

It's over................. I want too declare germany war, and fucking brazil too, the ref was ofc colored by the fact that we played germany on their soil. Fucking ref couldn't take the pressure and gave germany more than a few freekicks and sweden a lot of yellow cards...

I feel all dead inside..

there have been some damn close and exciting matches in the round of 16.

Aussies - wow, so close.
Swden - no offense, but you played as good as you could
England - might be a good team if they ever start playing - rooney is their all, needs a second striker to play off
Brazil - bunch of individuals, Germany or Argentina will pwn them
Ukraine - ugly! worst game of the cup
