Pirates of thecarribean 2

Depp is back with Bloom, and Keira to shiver your timbers.
Well pirate movies, we hadnt seen a good pirate movie in quite a while before PoC hit the theaters, and its an interesting genre. Obivously itsa kinda of light hearted movie, and i would expect the same from the sequel, im fairly sure the second one will be entertaining as well, if you like Depp's acting that is.

release date : 7th of july 2006

desi and I are excited about this. I'm not a big fan of depp (although desi is a HUGE fan) he was outstanding in pirates, and with Orlando bloom supporting, I personally don't see how this could be bad. THe third one should be a hit too.. Seems to be a can't miss movie.

yea its a definite : take your girlfrien/date kinda movie
they will dig Depp or Bloom, but you get some nice action sequence and Keira if you like her
its jsut a good production

I didnt really want to see the first one, but I ended up liking the movie. I thought it was solid not great like everyone else though. I saw the trailer for potc2 and honestly that looks likes its gonna be a good ass movie.

Mimi and I have been excited about the second movie since we saw the preview, looks awesome! Hopefully it's as good as the first if not better.

Saw it last night, and although it was a good movie, I didnt like it as much as the first. It wasnt "Piraty" enough for me and way too much fantasyworld. I think the special effects were what kicked this one and the box office record breaking sales came from it being pirates 2

Pirates 3 isnt gonna break box office, two reasons; the hype of 2 wasnt held up by the actual movie, and nothing will beat Venom out of the top spot in Spider-man 3

i heard that the movie wasnt great because basically it serves as a bridge for the third movie

it basically was like the second matrix movie in that regard.. yeah...i was disappointed really.
