Dunno if you guys have seen this before, but www.pandora.com is IMO the best site I've seen this year. And nowadays it's for free too, so sign up and listen to some great music!
It's a sort of internetradio thing that lets you choose what kind of music you like and then finds songs similar to what you chosed.

so far this looks REALLY cool.
Only allowed to hear 11 songs per hour
This is the kind of thing I might do for an hour or so at a time to discover new music....
edit: seems you can hear more, but you can't skip them.

bane I knew you would be good for something one day!
I even put in The Urge (one hit wonder rock//ska band... think 311) and it did a great job of finding bands I like that I never knew existed
