The battle for the new format

its very interesting
seeing as how blu-ray will be on sony playstations, and sony sold 100 million units of the ps2...
x-box 360 doesnt have a new hd dvd player, but they said they could sell a hd-dvd add-on
obviously, an added fee, but still probably alot cheaper than the retail hd-dvd player, but still, its not as convenient as sony's integrated blu-ray

Microsoft was one of the big backers of the hd-dvd camp
but now if they offer to have the blu-ray on their x-box, it tilts the balance

it is the whole betamax vs vhs war all over again
with both camp having major support from hollywood studios and electronics company
let it be known though, that what tipped the battel of vhs versus betamax was the porn industry, wich gave its stamp of approval to sony's blu-ray
