Hellboy 2 : the golden army

so i wanted to see batman last night, but theater was packed for it
there even was a scalper selling tickets at twice the normal price for the show

so i went and saw hellboy instead, and what a disappointment it was
the movie starts out good, with a child hellboy, some little introspection into his childhood and it sets the story for the rest of the movie

sadly beyond those 10 minutes, the movie degenerates into a visual orgasm of little consistency
the movie is beautiful, though it would seem they used the same effects and props as for pan's labyrinth
but beyond some ok action scene, there is no real story here
no info on the new guy of the movie
no new stuff on hellboy and his pals...

it was a disappointing movie

Yupp, kind what I had imagined then. Thansk for the info, now I'm sure I won't pay to see it.

Batman though, which I haven't seen yet, I will pay to see.

saw it on imax this week-end, and it doesn't disappoint

We have something in the newest cinema called "the VIP auditorium", which is a smaller auditorium with like ~40 seats. What's great is that those seats are fully custamizeable (you can lean back and it has one of those .. things that.. comes out of the chair that you can rest your feet on, dunno the english word for it) and no chance of even tall guys in front of you blocking your sight. You also get free coke and popcorn and can order in drinks/beverages (with or without alcohole) to your seat.

The screen is slightly smaller than the really large ones, and the price is exactly dubbled the normal rate, and it's also very hard to get a seat to the really great movies.

I'm intendning to see batman in that auditorium, heh.. I'm just waiting for the first rush to diminish so that I can get better seats.
