Hey Guys! I miss raiding with you guys. I've just had to take a break from it. Been leveling an alt and having a blast. A buddy FINALLY got the game so me and Station have been leveling up alts with him, teaching him the ropes. And he's a Warlock. Any warlock leveling tips? What spec is best for leveling in your opinion? What stats are best for leveling? Any tips or tricks or anything?

My approach, naturally, is different...
Affliction for Siphon and Nightfall, then Dest to Shadowburn. I'm sorry, I like having a hard-hitting instant finisher when you get in close fights. Maybe its my PvP server mentality, where in the 30-50s you spend a lot of time with spontaneous 1v1 PvP. I also liked to at least get Demonic Embrace for the stam boost.
As far as keeping yourself going, keep FA levelled as high as you can at all times, lifetap and bandage to recover. Dark Pact is a waste IMO, gives such piss-little mana, and still has global cooldown.
Later, I have no problem with DS build... In fact, Demology owns anyway.

You have to go darkpact and make the switch to DS, that is, if you want the fastest leveling spec.
You can still get demonic embrace. You will miss out on shadowburn, but this isnt a spec meant to incorporate PvP with. Yes you will encounter pvp while grinding, but it wont be significant enough to make such a change.
Dark pact still helps a ton. Keep in mind you can still lifetap and bandage up.... Dark pact, thus, will only limit your downtime even further then without it. Its all about sustaining mana for continuous grinding. More than half the time, your PvP encounters will just be by someone far greater level than what you can even hope a shadowburn will help with.

Well, before DC buff, CoEx was about the only kiting/escape/snare tool available to warlocks, especially alliance vs undead, who could beat fears easily. It was purely defensive, for people who wanted to be able to run. So defensive talent Coex = for wussies, gotcha.
The 3/4 Coex is merely just 3 extra points that could go anywhere in the affliction tree(simply a matter of indifference). In any case, as I said, it has little effect on what the build accomplishes, which is leveling. It is the best leveling spec, which was the original question asked by phreek. Im sorry, a hybrid pvp spec cannot beat it.
And even post Deathcoil buff, avid users of Coex didnt drop it and reform their build. It IS that good.
