Well, the day of release, it took most of us about 2 hrs to get on, because we had to download a HUGE patch to fix crap that was busted when they pressed the CDs. This was further complicated by their shitty bit-torrent file sharing patch distribution system. THEN the queues, which were self-inflicted by Blizzard to help limit the number of toons in the newbie areas, and continued until people "levelled out" of them.

FAR from polished, trust me.

The only reason we had such bad lines was because of the server you guys wanted to play on. It was a full server on the first day.

Anyway. The point is. Starcraft is the greatest game ever.

Virtually every server was that way, Roam. Yes, our queues may have been longer, but they had to limit the number of people in the starter areas because people would have been all over each other, lagging each other, etc. You'd have had to wait in line to kill boars....
