its actually a different company all together than made wow and D2, and quite honestly, D2 was fun up untill the hacks started coming in and nothing was done...i played d2 for years and found it to be fun up untill the end.

SWG on the other hand was fun untill they changed hte game completely...twice. SOE is definately a screw job company.

1.10 changed the game completely, so that argument is moot. EQ2 is made by SOE but no LA, with different designers and devs. exactly the same idea as wow vs D2.

either way, SWG is my favorite game of all time and not D2. so SOE > blizz

I guess i can see that, but d2 didn't change the game completely like the cu and later the NGE did...they completely overhauled the game engine... D2 however, just added new stuff...not really as drastic. And SOE still sucks.

I tend to stay away from HC still though ... too many bad memories of idiots and I rarely have enough people online to play with consistently, and generally HC alone = dead and lost gear.
