a couple needed 3 tuxedos, but can only pay with a check.. they need them tomorrow... I do not know them... we require a credit card payment for rush orders
i offered to use my credit card to pay for their rentals, if they'd write their check out to me.... was that stupid of me?

Just remember, check fruad is the number one con in america. If i owned a bussiness i wouldnt even accept them. And i certainly wouldnt if i was just you.

Working for a small business I can speak to the fact that accepting checks and sometimes dealing with a bounced check is far cheaper then paying the credit card companies for doing transactions and the second phone line etc.RoamingMadness wrote:Just remember, check fruad is the number one con in america.
