I wqon't do a poll since there's no way to be able to include all the differenrent brands.

Too bad whuslky is so farkin expensive! otherwise i've would have drunken more! :D :D

Crown Royal.

Shiram, the best is right at home :P

Jack Daniels is okay. Crown's my bread and butta though.

Oooooh. For scotch whisky, it's gotta be Highland Park.
For sour mash, Jack Daniels Single Barrel
And for Canadian whisky, Crown royal Limited.

They're all so different, and so good.

For canadian whiskey (the only kind I enjoy drinking), Crown Royal isn't bad, but Gibson's Finest (Gold label) is a FAR superior whiskey .... it's not exported though, so you have to be in canada to drink it.

I drink mostly scottish whisky, at least when I cn afford it, it's expensive as hell here in Swden due to insane taxes on liqouer(sp?).

Recently bought Johnny Walker Green fairly cheap when I was in Tallinn/Estonia, liked that one alot.

Always liked Glenfiddich alot too.

Haven't really tried alot of american/canadian whisky, not easy to get ahold of her inSweden :(

Bane ....
Johnny Walker Green
I guess you learn something new every day ... I had never encountered or heard of the Green Label Johnny Walker before. A little research turns up this as the varieties of JW (not including the basic 6-year basic Red label)

Johnnie Walker - Black Label $36.99 12 years old
Johnnie Walker - Blue Label $229.99 Blend of 25-67yr old
Johnnie Walker - Gold Label Centennery Blend Scotch $74.99 18 years
Johnnie Walker - Green Label Scotland $64.99 15 yr.

I always was aware of Red as the standard, Black as premium, and Blue as HOLY SHIT .... turns out there are two more in there too.

i like gin bc it seems to actually have a flavor instead of just a certain amount of nastiness - - its the only spirit flavored with botanicals not corn or rye or barley and other wheaty shit - - but to each his own :o

Shaz: Yeah something new every day! I wasn't aware there were a Gold label, heh.. Damn, i wish I could afford a bottle of Blue :(

SicClown: True, beer is the ultimate beverage, so versatile, fits in every occasion but sometimes one wish to drink something a little more exclusive. Whisky can give ya a certain feeling of.. luxury sorta.

Awn: Never really tried that many different kinds of gin.. Any gin I drink is mxied with other ingredients in a drink so you really can't taste it's own taste.

Single Barrel bourban FTW. I get a 1/5 a year and drink it slowly.
Bookers
Basil Haydens Reserve

But with out a doubt the absolute best spirit i have drunk was something I found at my grandfathers house when he passed away. a 9/10's full bottle of Pinch (scotch) from 1959 (it was already aged 12 years at that point) I couls swirl it around in my mouth and the taste was so complex. I gave a shot to a scotch addict and he alwost started to cry. He said it was head and shoulder above a 100$ of Glenfiditch he had.

Currently a 1/5 of Pinch (in the funky shaped bottle) is ~ $63.
