but touch scientology and he quits, outtraged
i mean, as far i can remember, they have parodied black guys as well, and more than once
but that was ok... but scientology!!

I read that he had quit the show but it didn't say for what reasons.

i seriously doubt isaac had any choice in the matter, scientology is pretty much a big fucking brainwashing cult, and somebody probably told him he had to quit, or something bad would happed.

just check out this site. www.xenu.net its pretty much a collection of shit about scientology and a lot of stuff from ex-scientologists
that "religion" is really fucking messed up, and just ah uge corporate pyramid scheme

Yeah Scientology is ridiculous. There is a centre in the town I live in, and they are always sucker people with free 'stress tests'.

I've read a fair bit from xenu and agree that it's totally fucked up.

I'd agree it's probably Hayes being forced to leave the show. At the end of the episode Stan is staring at the camera shouting 'come on then, Sue me, SUE ME!' then when the credits role everyone is credited as John or Jane Doe (or maybe Smith, not sure). So the Scientologists must have been pissed.

I've also heard that Travolta is a member and makes a deal out of it because they have documents/info on him that would ruin his career/life.

Basically, it seems that Hayes suffered from a stroke in January, and has been recovering for some time. It also says that like Cruise's new bride, he always has a Scientology "handler" around him, and infers that Hayes didn't quit the show, but that crap came from his handler.

Those people creep me out. I can't understand how these Hollywood elitists, who are supposed to be so damn smart, fall for their shit.
