Yupp, b-day yesterday.

It's been a weird year, heh.. had a job, lost it, lost my grandma, lost my girlfriend, got her back, new apartment, new job, and now a new job again.

Do you have any issues with your age? I keep getting the question if I am manic about my age, about being close to thirty. I always answer no, I just don't care. As long as I don't feel old, I don't care much. It helps to have my new job though, just got a real emplyement, meaning I got security and can't be fired with a few weeks notice. Makes me feel more adult, haha :)

well its something to think about when you look in the mirror and see all that white hair popping in more and more places, but i really do not stress about it

mostly my birthdays are good excuses to take a day off work, and eat great burgers, or move ( my birthday is close to our national holyday, but here in Quebec we use that day off work to move)
but i dont give it any more meaning, after all time is relative
Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Sometimes it does feel weird to know you're over 30, and things that you could swear happened a few days ago, are actually like 15 or 20 years away. Sometimes it also feels weird to think you're close to like half-way to the inevitable :) Other than that, I don't think much about it. Sure, a white hair appears once in a while but on the whole, I look younger than I am (most people say, 25-27 max) so I don't really have a reason to say or think "OMG, what an old fart" when looking in the mirror

I hit 30 yesterday and I really wasn't looking forward to it, and I started my 30's by waking up at about 2:00 this morning and throwing up for some reason, and it wasn't even alchohol related, to be honest I think I overdosed on Valentines candy and red velvet birthday cake.... Oh well I guess now that I'm an old man I can't down the sweets like I used to...

Heh, you guys are already getting white hair? Damn, I haven't seen any of those yet luckily.

And same as Dar I look much younger than I am. Some even think I am around 20, but I guess most would say 22-23 or something like that. I have looked pretty much the same for the last five years but perhaps my hariline has slowly crawled slightly upwards, but still not enough to make it look stupid. I cut my hair short though, so it's hardly even noticable.

the white facial hair started before the mid twenties
and the rest is  pretty recent

i dunno if i look younger than i am, probaly not, the beard doesnt make one look young

I meant to give you a call on monday to rub it in that you're officially old now, but staying up with a screaming newborn made me forget everything.
