First football (or soccer for you us-guys) and beer, then straight to the concert. Man, this will be a wicked wednesday!

Dunno why I even write this, I'm just so happy and excited, I guess.

Indeed it was. Too bad my two friends both have jobs to go to, so I had noone to go out with after the concert. Kinda boring to go straight home. I was so excited I couldn't really go to sleep, so I ended up listening to music and then watching a film 'til like 4 am. Then some douche-bag waked my at 6.30 by ringing on my doorbell for what felt like an eternity! So I'm kinda messed up now, my head hurts and shit, heh..

And btw, Against the dark with steven seagal is prolly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Seriously, don't see it.

Indeed! And I got a ton of great shows to look forward to. I have many friends who play in bands, so this and the next month I think there's four concerts I will see. I love the feeling just after a concert, when you have sung along in every lyric and jumped around for an hour and a half, as you said, it really releases whatever pressure one has within. makes me excited and pumped up as the same time as it calms me.

Always great to actaully travel for a good concert! Makes it even bigger when you travel to see the band instead of them traveling to your town. Gotta admit I know nothing about deathklok, and haven't really ever listened to mastodon either. Know the latter by name only.

Live music is the shit. Every time I go to a concert i always end up asking myself why I don't do it more often! One should really jump on every opportunity for a good live act, it's pretty much always worth the money!

Yeah, we have alot of great metal bands here on this side of the "pond". I ain't much for festivals though, just can't stand living in a tent in an ocean of mud and shit for a week :-/ I'm just too old for that nowadays. I always wanted to travel to Wacken in Germany for one of teh best metal festivals in teh world, but I never got around to it. I've worked every summer since '99, but this summer when I had time, I didn't have the money (or the will, really), hehe.. "isn't it ironic", like alanis morrisette sang some ten years ago.

Listening to mastodon on spotify now, gimme your favorite tunes with them.

colony of birchmen is pretty badass

i like mot of it actually
their earlier albums are alot les melodic, and more grind oriented
but they have grown into a sort of doom/stoner/progressive band

Leviathan is probably my favorite album from them, followed by blood mountain
