There is no real evidence to say we didn't. All the "evidence" that says we didn't is looked at through a lens of unbelief and found to support that view. Its the scientific method in reverse. Make a conclusion then find evidence to support it.

The real questions are:

1) why hasn't anyone involved said anythng about it? That is ALOT of people who would need to be shut up. the 12 people supposedly who walked on the moon, and EVERY director, producer, stage manager, and crew member on the sound set.

2) Why would the government continue to perpetuate this lie?

3) What is gained by lying about it?

Really the first question can't be answered. Because we walked on the moon. Conspiracy theorists will find an answer to the other two in their delusions.

yea that makes sense to me

apparently 6 to 20% of Americans believe it to be a hoax
and Fox would be to blame

I know way to little avout this to form a proper opinion, but I seem to recall reading something about the shadows on some pictures facing the wrong direction which lead some ppl to believe the pictures was taken in a studio or was a montage.

The last two are quite obvious I think, the "lie" (I don't think it is a lie, but lets use that term) would then most likely have been done to prevent communist sovjet to gain the priveledge of walking on teh moon's surface before the US. If it indeed was a lie, then of course they (the government) have to keep up apperances, alot of your nations proud history comes from that moment, and the communist presence and threat in the world is still not diminished.

I don't think it's a hoax, but then again, I never tried to find "evidence" of it being a lie either. Dunno what there is to be found to support that opinion, except the flag pole and the shadow mentioned above?

EDIT: Btw, "Yea YOU did", hehe

you forgot to mention what % of people still think 9/11 was a conspiracy even though the number of people required to pull it off would be in the tens of thousands.

we landed on the moon, you seen the youtube video of buzz aldrin punching some moon landing conspiracy nutbag in the face?

EDIT: found it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOo6aHSY8hU

I'd be willing to believe 9/11 was the master plan of the bush admin. before i'd be willing to believe that we didn't walk on the moon. yeah.

good point, but i do like watching Buzz punch that guy in the face.

Personally i find the moon landing to be an easier task to fake but i don't think they did.

I think people like to look for conspiracy in things, not sure why but people like to think not everything is as boring as they're led to believe.

even if we didn't really walk on the moon, i'm pretty sure we could, but why? place is a dump not much mineral-wise and it seems like a pretty shitty place except for maybe a staging point for later space travel to extrasolar planets.
