I think it's fascinating how openly american press can discuss race. In sweden news-papers never mention the ethnicity of a person or else they would immideately be called racists themselves.

Sounds like your country doesn't have as much of an entertainment driven media. The news isn't important here unless its got more people watching it that the other news stations.
