My cousin died of a septic shock

She was 28, and healthy, it hits home hard, she was my age and no one would have though she could be gone so fast.

I was actually fine untill last night, when we went to the funeral home.
It just hit home, and i could barely speak...

I know the feeling. I have been blessed by not losing many friends or family, but I remember when my grandma died that it at first felt sorta ok, then suddenly it just hit me I would never ever see her again. I just broke down completely. One needs to grief though, how hard it may be you just gotta let yourself feel like shit for some time.

Don't spend too much time by yourself is my humble advice. try to spend time with friends and just chat and drink a couple of cold ones. It's when you're alone it's the hardest to cope with.

Heh, yeah it's weird that it sometimes takes a misfortune of some sort to bring family back together. It's always one of those things which strike you when you lose someone close, that often you just don't spend enough time with everyone you really would like to spend more time with, and then suddenly it may be too late. I have actually tried lately to stay more in touch with my parents and siblings, to take the time to just visit them, 'cause one never knows what the future holds.

Damn, that prolly sounded more miserable that intended, heh.. :-/

Are you at work today? I guess you are since you reply so quickly. I personally think that may be good, the busier one are, the less one can think of other shit.

Hey, I haven't had time to check stuff out around here much but thought I'd say sorry for your loss. I've had 3 funerals already this year too but none so young, I can only imagine how much worse that makes it. But like you guys said, it was the first time in quite some time that I got to see some of my family so that was good....

I too have not lost many friends/family, but when I did, I found taking a long night walk to myself was the best way for me to cope.

Been a bit busy myself, and not really too much in the mood for posting, after the president's plane crash in Russia and massive floods (the area where I live was threatened as well but fortunately, no damage).
