Just thought i'd let you guys know. I popped the big question last night and she said yes! no date yet, but we're thinking march of 2011.

Congrats! So I guess we can assume the grand plan worked flawlessly?

yes. The plan worked (almost) flawlessly. I mistimed the scavenger hunt by 15 minutes meaning i had to waste about 15 minutes of time before we could head out to the restaurant. Pretty easy to do though and she didn't suspect a thing.

As for the surprise party... I myself was surprised. Surprised at how many people actually showed up. It was crazy. I expected about 20, but nearly 50 people showed! I don't think I could have asked for a more perfect way for the night to end. One of her sorority sisters actually got the proposal on video, but I can't be sure that You can hear me.. when I got down on one knee the whole place went crazy, so... But I was a nervous wreck so it is probably best you can't hear my voice break.

She was in tears and I had to fight back a tear or two myself. All in all, it was pretty perfect.
