SWG has instanced dungeons? Since when?

On that note, BTW, instances work incredibly well. After all the spawn camping, KS, and all that crap for quest mobs in the old days of EQoA, they are a relief. Even when Blizz has an outdoor mob that is a quest mob, its got a short spawn timer.

Yea mikey, specially trials of obi-wan, it has a series of quest called the champion of mustafar, basically its considered the HK-47 series, since you end up fighting HK-47 at the end (And looting a YT-2400 in the style of Dash Rendars "Outrider" which is the hardest ship to get ingame!)

THe instances are run on a timer, meaning you have a specific amount of time to complete the "mission" and you have a certain timer lockout from attempting or completing the quest again. Some of the missions have large lockouts like HK's final mission has a 27 hour completion locout and a 2hr per boss killed timer when ya fail. The Corvette missions for each of the factions was the first instance. Rage of the Wookies has location instanced areas. For example, the Rryatt Trail has 8 different instances, where you and a group can load into one, and another group can load into another and you'll never see each other, but complete the same quests killing the same stuff.

the beauty of Instances is that you can do these without worrying if someone beat ya to it, unlike doin the nightsister queen or getting to the death watch bunker overlord. There are still portions of mobs that people camp and you cannot fight in an instance, but the highly prized and sought after fights are.

probably 75% of the highest end content in EQ2 is instanced. no down side at all to instances from a players point of view.
Don't hate me because I'm pwn
