Im realling diggin the spy. We blew up one military barc speeder, a few AT-RT's and a couple speeders. Outwitted Z'ieus who was one hit incapping us earlier on the hill north of Restuss and generally having an awesome time. It was a tad difficult with Kad being a Jedi and all, but he was a nice tank to have lure targets when I told the WS gank squad to head back into the city and await my call. We pulled that trick off a few times.

In all honesty the game has come along. It still lacks content but as far as professions go its rockin'

Pretty much there is something for everyone. Tanks, damage dealers, invincible healers. The Old school Jedi Cloakers got Spy with rowdy "while cloaked" abilities, Officers took the pistoleer/squad leader combo. Bounty Hunters are pretty much the shafted spot atm, and traders are getting an uber revamp next.

Content would make this game come to life imo. If anyone wants to take a peek at the game, let me know, I might hook you up to test it all out.

More like 1.10, 1.11

Which im not around for either, youll note. Patching is fine and required. Rebuilding the game from the ground up is unacceptable in my book. And charging money while you build the game, with no content, no classes, and ruining an original game.

I dont think i need to go on.

Well im not playing anything right now. So i guess i just have higher standards.

If they had just patched the game as it was, id still be there playing.

I will say, im slightly tempted at coming back as a trader. But i dont know enough of the game for it to appeal to me right now.

Whats the difference in two traders or two officers, etc etc.

Next chapter is Trader and Entertainer Expertise. Both professions are getting combat levels (so they can use combat related gear at the regulated leveling)

They didnt announce they would be doing a revamp of the crafting system, so it may not be a wholehearted crafting experience with any sort of benefits or differentials in crafting (sans expertise) but the new reverse engineering system seems to bring a whole new element to the game. IMO space is still a strong pvp scene and is always a prime example of a game that hasnt changed. I dont know if you ever tried JTL Roam, but its something to consider.

You should have a 15 day vet return trial someplace you should look into.

i might try 15 days free if i get some time

Space doesnt appeal to me at all. Im not into that stuff. And id only be interested in the trader thing really as a non combat profession. Ghetto if you have to level via combat as a trader.

I think they are inputing combat levels to traders and ents to incorporate the distribution of expertise points a little easier. You get an expertise point every 2 levels with 5 at 10 (so you get a total of 45 points to distribute.)
you'll level by crafting, each crafting box gives you a combat level.

Structures trader does just that, structures and shipwright shits.

Munitions does armor and most weapons

Engineer is the old artisan boxes and droid engineer.

domestics is tailor and chef.

Basically they took the four trees of artisan and dumbed them down to 4 branches, merchant is gained by all of the trees. For the most part armorsmith is the only one that makes money anymore while the revamp/expertise is going to bring new schematics to droid engineer and actually (hopefully) make droids worth using.

My guess is domestics will make new clothing attachments, munitions will make armor attachments, and everything else will just be around for little bits and pieces.

Roam if you're serious you should have a 14 day free trial for re-upping your account if you didn't activate at all since the NGE came out. If you like what you see and promise to play a month or two I'll hook you up with the resources to grind out a trader to master.

If you can't use the free trial thing again let me know I've got the second account running still and you can try it out there.
