Some interesting insight to the Future of SWG

The first and foremost thing is that they are implementing auto-targetting/autoaim back into the game. It will work on the pretense of PRECU/CU targetting, and it will be optional (Meaning you can use the current targeting or the auto aim feature.) The basis behind the new feature will be you pick a target and you would do yer attacks like you would in the current game (Hold down the left click to attack based on weaponspeed and do specials in the same manner) except that your attacks would auto hit based on line of sight.

The REstuss event is taking off, but the first phase is a long haul; you have 4 different types of missions. Each completed mission contributes to the overall hidden score of the base that each faction has to build up. More completed, better the base. Each section of the base is run by one of the 4 missions and upon a certain level of completed missions for that section the overall look of the base increases. The best examples I can give are this: One of the missions is a ground "Kill ST" mission, where you kill 30 Dark Troopers and complete. After like a 1000 completed missions, the area around that mission giver changes, adding a tent or some generic furniture. More mission completions turns it into 2 tents, then into a bunker. Our rebel base currently has one bunker for the ground pounders and the space section has 2 tents and an antennae array. Our bunker is also further along then the imps, who have chicken wire fencing as opposed to solid durasteel walls we have. Our walls appear to be completed as well.

When PHase 3 hits, there will be an NPC in Restuss called "The Emperor's Hand" with a random name affixed (No, not Mara Jade :|) This level 100 Boss mob will have a rare drop of the new lightsaber hilt schematic.
Restuss in Phase 3 will work like the old battleground, in which when you walk into Restuss city, you will be flagged SF

They are also working on artwork corrections and modifications to make the avatar more lifelike and appealing as well.

And last of all, this friday should have the expertise system layout for Jedi, which will hit TC in mid July and live somewheres towards the end of said month. Bounty Hunters expertise hits layout next week and they too roll out to test with Jedi improvements

And the jedi stances/buffs have changed, the focus/offense buff adds 115 to stamina and strength, adding a lot more action and damage for the jedi to deal with. Con and Agility are the defense stances.

sounds cool. guessing expertise system is like AA (alternate advancement) from EQ and EQ2.
