Space = gay
Space = gay
You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
There probably isn't any meaning in life. Perhaps you can find something interesting to do while you are alive. Like how you found that flower. Like how I found you.
Buttons aren't toys.

Kiddo has a rockin' game machine. Big honkin' video card and all that stuff. Hi-res, high frame rates... better than mine.
And I gotta tell you, when he did his free 15 day return to SWG after a year+ of WoW, I can say it looked appalling. Space was somewhat cooler, but boy did the ground game look lame. People who play SWG usually say WoW looks "cartoonish". Well that's probably because WoW employs more than 4 colors in their textures. Also, the colors are usually bright, and have contrast to one another. I'm not comparing gameplay here, just the looks, and WoW is definitely more appealing to look at.

Old Man.
But there's been about, oh, a million publishes of SWG, and they could have corrected this.
A good example is the low level armor, cloaks, weapons, etc. in WoW were originally pretty drab and ugly. Most of it was generic place-holder models until they could be upgraded, but I also think Blizz realized that the low-level game looked pretty dreary, and they really spiced it up.

if you ask me, star wars had a star wars look
it could have been flashier but it would have lessened the feel of the game
ie: the graphics could have been better, but overall it was fair enough
besides at the time, i had a crap machine, so the graphix were fine by me!
and they couldnt have changed the graphix in a publish without changing the minimum requirements, and they couldnt do that once the game was out
besides, the graphix are better in WoW
all im saying is SWG graphix are alright

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
SWG's graphics are actually very good, considering the game was release nearly 3 years ago now. wow blows my nutsshiram wrote:if you ask me, star wars had a star wars look

SWG reminds me of starwars 4-6.
Stuff looked used, warn down. Everything wasn't new and shiny. You feel like you are actually in a real world.
And if you have a decent graphics card, with them actually turned on. A lot of the worlds look REALLY good.
WoW looks like a cartoon. The graphics are better.. if you like that sorta thing. I personally dont.

Only reason SWG is better then anything else is because its familiar. Anyone who quit can easily get back into the game with little to no trouble, the engine changed but the game remains the same for the most part.
"I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people out there in our nation don't have maps and I believe that our education like such as in South Africa and the Iraq and everywhere like such as and I believe that they should our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S. or should help South Africa and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries so we will be able to build up our future for us."

wow is pretty fun imo, if you can get in a guild that does stuff together.
i never found grinding bgs from lvl 19-60 was too fun, and i never really liked leveling, but when i hit 60 and started getting into the different things it got a lot more fun.
for some people leveling up is the most enjoyable part.
some people love constant pvp (which is quite possible with the multiple BG queues, you can typically never be seen outside one)
and some people just like doing their own thing.
recently i got a new mount, which i thought was cool, not a whole lotta orcs with kodo mounts.
but yeah wows graphics are a little cartoony, but WoW is designed to look like the other warcraft games in art style and animations.
WoW is not a niche game ,it caters to all audiences, and well, it may not do as well in one area as others, its still an enjoyable game, and after play multiple MMORPGS so far it is the best one i've played.
(DAoC would be 2nd imo, i loved pvping in that game although i didnt play for very long)
