? i quit, wow, i think the graphics in wow are average, and the graphics in that garbage game wannabe fucking suck, they have no color, its all shades of brown and grey and white, theres no life, everything looks dead, i can SEE the fucking blocks, that my friends is SHITTY FUCKING GRAPHICS.
i don't know if thats how it looks with your settings or whatnot, but changing your settings doesn't miraculously make character models unblockified
it looks like crap, and until the game ends, it'll continue to look like crap.
WoW's graphics for the most part are better, yes, its a MUCH newer game, although i find the graphics quite lacking, they're very colorful (which is good) but they're very cartoonish, and a lot of the models are just rehashed War3 units and buildings.
but much better graphics than that garbage SWG.
now let me move onto my Next target EQ2.
The graphics are completely 100% lifeless, the animations in the game are horrid, and your ability to render multiple people on the screen subpar at best. i have a fairly highdollar PC, and Video card, and the game looks like total shit on my PC. decent graphical shit and all that, but completely lifeless and unoriginal, its just feels totally generic.
wow on the other hand, looks full of life and vigor, and seems to be flourishing.
the thing your forgetting is SWG is years older, and incidently has an older graphics engine, although even though the graphic engine is old, the colors are horrible shades of brown and grey in that screenshot, and look terrible.
also the only game i play now in Guildwars, which has decent graphics, environments look fairly cool, and characters appear nice, except the variety of character looks is very shallow with only a few sets of armor and a small amount of different weapon graphics.
this is my MMORPG Graphics analysis, i'd talk about EQ1's graphics, but they're shitty as well, but have more color than that SWG screenshot.

I have a sweet card, but when most of the graphical and modal information for SWG is client side, instead of server side, my graphics tend to run on the low end, so I can play the game. The point of that screenshot is the title and the saber color, thats it. Dont diss the screen or the game, specially if you never played it. If ya got a problem with that graphics, blame the unit that runs it.

the problem being IS that SWG has outdated graphics and very shitty color schemes, browns and greys do not a good screenshot make.
now, the fact your computer is shitty doesn't make the color scheme in that screenshot a complete eyesore.

swg had decent graphics
i prefered them over the cartoonish WOW graphics
now obviously SWG was released before WOW, so its quite likely the graphics are a bit less intense, but its really a matter of preference anyways
and neither the graphics in WOW or SWG are reasons why i stopped playing either
