Re: Fuck this game.
SWG didn't manage to grab me by the balls, so to speak. Gonna try Old Republic next year though. I'm back to WoW and having a great time playing casually. Once I hit 80, I'm gonna need to control my /played however, since it's easy to sink too much into this game. I think I know how to keep addictio...

Re: I'm bored, what's new?
No idea, I finished DA playing a fighter and he seemed more than capable to me. The toughest fight was Gaxxkang (a parody of Kangaxx the Demilich from BG series), the rest was almost a breeze. Playing ME2 with my wife now, it's a good game. I don't really miss the old loot/inv system anymore, the on...

Re: DDO - Play for free
Installed DDO Unlimited so I can play it as well. Looks pretty decent at the first glance. Since I returned to WoW, I'm pretty much focused on leveling my new rogue. A casual player now however, WoW is way to addictive to start playing "seriously"

Even if it's late, sorry to hear that, Shir. I hope the family can overcome this tragedy.
Been a bit busy myself, and not really too much in the mood for posting, after the president's plane crash in Russia and massive floods (the area where I live was threatened as well but fortunately, no damage).

Grats to the Lakers + worst World Cup ever so far
Lakers - Celtics 4:3. Damn, I wanted the Celts to win. They surprisingly won the Eastern Conference after a pretty mediocre season, and I thought they would beat LA. Too bad they kind of fell flat on their faces in game 7. OTOH, the World Cup in South Africa sucks ass so far. Few goals, no stars lik...

Re: Nvidia drivers
Got a GTX 480 now. Back to single GPU gaming after my brief adventure with GTX 295. The new card can be loud as hell but it has a lot of HP under the hood, no question about that. Usually I can max everything without a second thought. Some games do require specific IQ cuts of course, like GTA IV (vi...

Re: Runes of magic
I tried it a few months ago. I found myself playing it for only a week or so, so I uninstalled it. It was a nice game with decent graphics, a large world, a ton of classes and gear but it didn't feel right. It didn't feel exciting to explore, roam around the world, get new stuff. It was kind of soul...

Re: I'm bored, what's new?
I've recently beaten two pretty big games - Dragon Age and AC2. Both were OK. Playing ME2 now. The only thing that pisses me off is the planet scanning - boring, tedious, taking too long. Otherwise, I really like the game. Loot/inv/skill system was massively "streamlined" but I actually like it, it ...

Re: Fuck this game.
I pretty much only play SP games now. No time for MMOs... Only LotRO installed, and I actually have to catch up to my wife, since her toons are meanwhile higher levels than mine. Cataclysm and rolling a new rogue sure looks tempting though... I have to resist, I know it's gonna eat up too much of my...

Re: I'm bored, what's new?
AC1 was tedious indeed but crusade-era-city atmosphere and graphics saved it for me so I beat it on X360. AC2 seems like a huge improvement though - side missions are way less repetitive, the entire gameplay isn't as boring as in AC1, and they added a lot of stuff players wanted, like the possibilit...

Re: I'm bored, what's new?
Assassin's Creed II PC is still relatively new - DRM sucks but the game itself is good. There's an expansion pack for Dragon Age - Awakening, getting pretty good reviews (haven't tried it yet). Battlefield BC2 seems OK but I'm not so much into online FPS nowadays. C&C 4 seems to suck so it's hard to...

Re: What the hell is this all about‽‽‽‽
Nah, I've had many nicks but Darius is the "international version" of my first name so it's kinda natural, not really being a typical nickname. Not pretentious or ridiculous, or too common. Works for me.
Re: Dar,
Yeah, tomorrow (IIRC) is Heavy Rain release day. Getting it ASAP, I liked Fahrenheit and the demo so it should be great fun.
Re: Dar,
Sorry mate, I n00bishly missed that post  I may reinstall D2 but first, I gotta get the game from my parents' apartment :) Plus, I have so many new games to play atm that squeezing another one in would be hard ;) Anyway, I'd be eager to try making a new barb from scratch and play a bit coop, a...

Re: DIII Barbarian
Yeah, Infirm was a whiner but a pretty skilled one, nonetheless. However, the best necro I've ever seen was Carnal, of the Polish clan Il-vec. He was incredible. Plus this guy from US West who wrote that huge, excellent P&B PvP guide. Forgot his nick atm.

Re: One year left..
Sometimes it does feel weird to know you're over 30, and things that you could swear happened a few days ago, are actually like 15 or 20 years away. Sometimes it also feels weird to think you're close to like half-way to the inevitable :) Other than that, I don't think much about it. Sure, a white h...

Re: Mass Effect 2 review + Witcher 2 preview
FF13 will be for my wife, I personally pretty much hate manga, anime, JRPGs, etc. Yeah, I also preferred Dead Space. Bioshock was OK but it took me literally MONTHS to beat it, I was never able to play it for more than about 1 hour straight. A good, well made game but not exactly my cup of...

Re: Mass Effect 2 review + Witcher 2 preview
Yep, and more are coming - just to name Heavy Rain, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, etc. BTW, does anyone else think that Bioshock is a bit overrated. Sure, it was a nice game with a twisted story, great graphics and pretty exciting combat/gameplay but somehow, I didn't consider it as memorable ...
